BlackSea Technologies showcased its Comet unmanned surface vessel (USV) during SOF Week 2026. The Comet is a large, high speed combat ready USV that can conduct a wide variety of missions. BlackSea provided SOF Week attendees a view of its Comet in their booth on the exhibition floor as well as at the adjacent Tampa Bay waterfront.

SOF Week 2026 will be held in May in Tampa, Florida. This event, co-hosted by USSOCOM and the Global SOF Foundation is an opportunity for members of the international SOF community to gather for a series of presentations, panel discussions, and displays and demonstrations by industries supporting SOF.
The 2026 edition of SOF Imperatives by the Global SOF Foundation (GSOF) features a singular, overriding focus: the urgent need to significantly increase the total top-line budget allocated to U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).
