More Than 40 SOF Support Organizations to Attend SOF Week 2026

SOF Week Tampa Florida 2026

Tampa, Florida will host SOF Week 2026 from May 18–21, an annual event co-hosted by the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and the Global SOF Foundation (GSOF). The event, running from 18 – 21 May, is a critical forum for the international special operations community.

SOF operators, government leaders, and industry partners all come together for briefings, demonstrations, exhibits, and networking. In addition, the event is also attended by academics, researchers, and non-profit organizations whose work supports the SOF community.

There will be over 800 exhibitors – among them organizations supporting the special operations community. The “SOF Community Corridor” is an part of the event that brings together dozens of non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting the special operations community.

On Wednesday, May 20th, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm there will be a SOF Community Corridor Networking Reception. The networking reception provides an opportunity for attendees, industry representatives, and members of the SOF community to engage directly with nonprofit organizations.

The SOF Community Corridor will also feature the “GSOF Gives Back: Non-Profit Round Robin”, where selected organizations provide short presentations on their missions and attendees vote on funding recipients.

These organizations, dedicated to serve SOF operators, veterans, and their families, can be found in the lower level (floor plan) of the Tampa Convention Center.

Some organizations are in a specialty area – like the Combat Diver Foundation and the OSS Society. Many of them are concerned with the medical health of the SOF community and some are focused on the transition of SOF members from active service to civilian life. While SOF Week is widely known for defense industry exhibitions and emerging technology demonstrations, the SOF Community Corridor highlights another important aspect of the special operations enterprise — the long-term support network for operators, veterans, and military families.
