Modern Warfare Week 2025 Returns to Fayetteville, NC

Modern Warfare Week 2025

The Global Special Operations Foundation (GSOF), in partnership with the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), will host Modern Warfare Week (MWW) 17-20 November, 2025, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The event brings together the Special Operations Forces (SOF) community to educate and connect through discussions about the future of warfare from a SOF perspective.

Modern Warfare Week has become a cornerstone event in the defense community, showcasing the evolution of innovation and strategy over the years. From groundbreaking live demonstrations at Demo Day—where cutting-edge equipment is displayed in real-world scenarios—to the thought-provoking Symposium featuring top experts shaping the future of special operations, the event continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

“In 2024 we had more than 1,300 attendees here in Fayetteville, and 47% were military or government representatives,” said Stu Bradin, President and CEO of the Global SOF Foundation. “Join us at Modern Warfare Week; be part of the conversation on future capabilities, enrich your service through our seminars, and come to Demo Day to see the leading-edge technology being fielded by SOF to meet current and future threats.”

A Week Dedicated to Innovation, Education, and Connection

The 2025 edition of Modern Warfare Week will feature events across multiple Fayetteville-area venues, including a two-day Symposium, an extensive exhibition hall, and an interactive Demo Day experience.

• Symposium and Exhibits at the Iron Mike Conference Center (Fort Bragg, NC):
The two-day symposium will highlight critical topics facing warfighters. A sold-out exhibition hall will showcase more than 90 cutting-edge industry exhibitors and non-profit organizations supporting SOF missions worldwide. Attendees can also take advantage of static displays and networking opportunities designed to foster collaboration and partnership.

• Interactive Demo Day at The Range Complex (Autryville, NC):
Participants will experience state-of-the-art weaponry, tactical systems, and emerging defense technologies in live-action scenarios. These demonstrations highlight how SOF integrates innovation and adaptability to meet evolving threats in modern warfare.

• SOF for Life Transition Programming:
Dedicated to supporting the entire SOF community, these sessions provide transition resources, insights, and support for active-duty members. Recognizing that spouses are a vital part of the journey, this programming is open to them as well.
